Who we are and what we stand for

Ferrinandah Children’s Home is more than just a shelter; it’s a place where vulnerable children find safety, love, and the opportunity to dream. Located in Bujagali, Jinja, Uganda, our organization was founded with a deep desire to give back to the community and create a lasting impact on the lives of children who have faced unimaginable hardships. For the past 4 years, we have been working to transform the lives of 36 children, providing them with education, care, and emotional support.

Our story

The journey of Ferrinandah Children's Home began with Joseph, a passionate and determined individual who saw the growing need to support children in his community. What started as a small initiative, supported by his mother and sisters, has now grown into a lifeline for dozens of children. Despite the challenges, including limited resources and infrastructure, we have never wavered in our commitment to the children we serve.

Our mission

Our mission is to create a nurturing environment where vulnerable children can grow into responsible, hardworking individuals. Through education, life skills training, and daily care, we aim to empower these children to overcome their circumstances and achieve their full potential.

Our values

  1. Education
We believe every child deserves access to quality education.
  2. Compassion
Every decision we make is guided by empathy and care for the children.
  3. Community
We work closely with local schools, families, and organizations to create a network of support.
